You would think life is sad. On Tuesday June 20th I was extremely upset with my boss. It turns out the office is being remodeled and we have no restrooms to use. He had the nerve to tell us to go to a public restroom. I was so upset, specially cause public restrooms are so gross. Oh well my co-worker and I couldn't hold it so we went on a quest for a restroom. We went to this Vons Market I think and to our surprise the restrooms were out of order. Hmm oh well, we walked out and guess what I saw? I saw this poor little doggie in the parking lot, trying to lay under a shade. She looked at us and just stared. I told my co-worker that she looked pretty bad, she was so cute! After buying her food, my co-worker and I put her in the car and we took it back to the office =). She looked so much better after she ate, more energetic. I was happy I wanted to keep her so bad. It seems like she was only 3months old, just a poor puppy struggling to survive =(. My boss told me to take her to a shelter, saying that they would take care of her and that after I can adopt her =). I decided to do so and I waited 5 days. I was so happy. She looked so much better. Oh I couldn't wait. On Monday this week I went to pick her up after work, and wow she looked way better then the day I dropped her off. She was stinky though, but that was k cause I was going to shower her as soon as I got home. I had so many plans already =) I was so happy. I wanted to go to Petco and buy her all the things she would need. When I took her home my honey was there, he was as happy as I was. We were both so excited. When I picked her up at the shelter they told me that she had a medical condition and asked me If I still wanted to adopt her. I felt so happy to rescue her that I couldn't say no. She had a fractured jaw, a ripped ear, and a bump on her jaw. Due to this the vet at the clinic did not spayed her. I was so sad for her. It broke my heart to know that people would mistreat an animal or living thing like that ='(. Once we walked into the house we got the tub ready and we showered her. She let herself barely even barked. What a wonderful doggie she is. . . . So happy and playful, barely ever barks. My mom is not fond of animals, but you could see it in her eyes that this doggie had won her heart. Wow! I thought, we will all be a big happy family. . . . until a few minutes after everything was shattered and my dreams were broken ='(. How sad I was. You see, after I showered her I went across the street to my daughters' grandparents house and we were all happy with the doggie until I came back home. My land owner has two Rottweilers, much older dogs (male and female). It seems the female was jealous or felt that the little one was disturbing her territory and attacked my poor little doggie =( I told my BF to pick her up so that they wouldn't hurt her. Anyways, as I walked towards my house I see my land owner and he asks me "Are you going to keep her?" and all happy I said "Well yeah, if you say I can" and he says "No I'm sorry I can't". You see the reason for which I'm very sad and upset is because many times I had asked him if it was ok, and he never said yes or no =(. My heart broke into pieces as he said that, and I had no choice but to take her back the same day ='(. When I dropped her off, even before I dropped her off and had no choice but to return her. I cried and cried. I just couldn't believe what was going on, and how I felt like I was living her down =(. How I wanted to help her, but it wasn't in my power to help her. It's been more than 2 weeks now, and I can't help but wonder if someone adopted her. I hope someone did. I really hope she found a nice home to live in. I hope someone will take pity on her and take her in. . . . . . . . *sigh*
